Porto Colom remained a traditional fishing village that is still not touched with mass tourism and commercialization.
In the center of Porto Colom is a large natural port where you will find lots of tiny fishing boats next to the yachts. Near Porto Colom there is also a beautiful natural bay where you can anchor for a pleasant stop and watch the sunset. In the surroundings there are beautiful sandy beaches.
Behind the city you can get to the lighthouse on the hill from which there is a fantastic view of the whole area. It is also worth visiting the Santuari de Sant Salvador monastery named after the first land which was discovered by Christopher Columbus.
