Region around Zadar is famous among sailors and by many called a chartering center of Croatia. It is here where you can find majority of yachts chartered in Dalmatia. Zadar itself is close to the airport, so renting a boats here is comfortable, quite cheap in comparison to other regions, but still close to many Croatian attractions, such as Kornati Islands for example. But if not, you can sail to the south and then go to Telascica, the Salt Lake and see the great views from the slopes of Kornati.
